OfficeShrink

OfficeShrink is a Microsoft Office files compressor developed by Flavien Scheurer. OfficeShrink is a Windows application that can compress PowerPoint presentation and Word document up to 98% by removing unneeded information from the files.

• Requires Office 2000 or Office 2003, the KiXtart scripting engine and the KiXforms GUI library.

Alpha version testing

1. Create the application folder in C:\Program Files\OfficeShrink

2. Download [download#1] and uncompress it (using 7-Zip) in the application folder.

3. If needed, download KiXtart 4.53 and copy wkix32.exe in the application folder.

4. If needed, download KiXforms 2.46.55.0 and copy kixforms.dll in the application folder. Then register KiXforms (admin rights required) with the command:
regsvr32 « C:\Program Files\OfficeShrink\kixforms.dll »

5. Launch OfficeShrink with the command:
« C:\Program Files\OfficeShrink\wkix32.exe » OfficeShrink.kix
